Last week traded in my '02 Amethyst SC a '13 see the gray everywhere GS. Miss the open air and curves already. But, wife had trouble getting in because of physical impairments. Plus as it was getting older more things to address due to age. Put the top down when I went to deal and people still stopped to gawk because of beautiful condition. All that said, the GS is a wonderful ride and extended CPO until 2024 is peace of mind. By then who knows what new technology will be common.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, having an updated car and one that will be easier for her to enter and exit will make up for it a little.

How did you get a warranty to 2024 ? Usually it runs 7 model years from in service date so I was thinking maybe it would run to 2020 or 2021 ....

Certified goes 6 years from in service, now with no mileage limitation...unlimited. I then added 5 years Lexus, still unlimited miles, on topof that. Mid-2013 plus 6 hrs gets to 2019 then extra 5 gets to 2024. Paperwork from Lexus corporate had that date on it. 🤑 Hard to believe something won't need fixing by then. My SC needed the motor mechanism for the navi, some speakers, mirror motors, steering wheel motors and a few other things. Warranty on that paid for itself.
And in 2024 who know what cars will be and run on, maybe apple cores 🤔
Thr GS is Nebula Gray, or as I call it: see it everywhere gray. But I like it.
