Any guess on what CBEST setting causing both door unlock when LuxLink closes top?
I am jelous of Habious, Mr. Blister and others who can tell LuxLink to close the top and then get out, lock the door, and walk away. When I do that, at the end of the LuxLink cycle, both doors unlock.
LuxLink must signal a door open/close at the end of the top up cycle in order to have the headlights turn off. Otherwise the car thinks the driver is still inside and keeps the headlights on.
I have tried every combination of getting out, locking the door, shutting the door, etc. but no matter what order I do it in, both doors unlock after the LuxLink cycle. I communicated with Steve of LuxLink but he is stumped.
I've done some changes to the C-BEST settings, but didn't keep track. The prior owner may have also. I am figuring that Habious, Mr. Blister and others who can do the top up, lock, walk away must have different settings than mine. Or maybe something was changed in the 2006 model.
Two questions: Anyone have any guess what C-BEST setting is causing this behavior? I'll be at the dealership Monday, so now's the time to get this changed. Also, is anyone with LuxLink and a 2006 or later SC able to do the top up, lock, walk away?
Thanks!

I have a 2006 with LuxLink and just tried several combinations of closing the top.
I can double click the dash close-switch and the automatic sequence begins. I turn off and then remove the key, open the door, lock the doors using the drivers door switch and close the door. After the top is up the doors remain locked.
If I do all the above but do not lock the doors using the door switch the doors then remain unlocked after the automatic sequencing.
I cannot use the key fob door lock button to lock the doors during the automatic sequencing.

Bon and Johnny
Mine is a 2005 and it works the same as Bon does, The only c best settings I changed was to be able to open the trunk with one click of the remote, My doors lock when I put car in Gear. I have my interior lights to stay lit for 45 seconds. Once the top is going through any sequence the remote fob is disabled..
Johnny try and opperate your top by using the drivers door key. duplicate the remote press
by emulating that with the key instead og using the fob . turn key to the left [ unlock ] then turn key to the right twice lock lock. The key will work the same as the remote pressing of the buttons you just duplicate the sequence with a turn of the key etc. If you think about it the pressing of the remote fob is locking or unlocking your doors in different sequences . The luxlkiink interfaces and its main trigger control is in fact the door lock unlock button, You actually should be able to opperate the top while sitting in the car with engine running and then with drivers side door controll switch press and duplicate the sequence by tapping door open button door door close button etc,

I simply have to wonder if one or more LuxLink wires were installed incorrectly. I think I'd go back and inspect each connection in the door as thats where the lock/unlock connections are located. Have you verified all the functions of the LuxLink otherwise?

I was thinking Bon may have a point, especially since my LuxLink installation was extremely problematic.
But I just found a setting which might be the issue: "All Unlock with
Driver’s Door Open/Close: Function to auto unlock all the other doors when the driver’s door opens within 10 seconds after turning the ignition OFF.ON)"
The default is DISABLED, but mine is definitely ENABLED.
Bon, Mr.Blister, Solman, could you do a test for me? Start your car, lock both doors, turn off the ignition, open the driver's door. Does the passenger's door unlock?
If no, I think I have the answer.
