I know that the SC430 didn't make the gas pedal / floor mat recall list but I'm wondering why. I called Lexus today but they took off early for Thanksgiving and will be back Friday. Does anyone else have any information about why certain models were included and others not? We have floating gas pedals with a gap for our floor mats to get jammed into just like the ES350 and IS 250/350 models included in the recall. I'm hoping that we weren't just ignored because of the limited numbers of SC's that exist.

Our cars are made in a different factory than the affected cars.

All of the affected cars share a lot of the same parts, including carpets and gas pedals. Ours don't.

Just a reminder to anyone reading this thread... the cars affected are 2005-2009 models, not before.
