It is not convenient to have the wires hanging in Central Console and Ipod will be hanging there as well. It should a better solution where to put a dock for Ipod ..

Any options ?

the ipod is not just hanging, it lays in there. There is no need for a dock since the ipod is controlled by the remote and all the song info comes out on the parrot screen.
The silver device you see is my XM radio, that is hardwired into the radio, completely different install and one does not interfere with the other

I used a harness($85) so no wires needed to be spliced, sound comes from all the speakers. The actual screen is in the ash tray, the screen is a caller id display, plus gives you all your song info just like on your ipod, all the hookups (ipod, etc) are in the center console. It comes with a remote that i put on top of the change lid by the shifter. I will post pics later. It really is incredible
Czerkawski,
i have to agree with you, best investment ive made for my personal entertainment, just had the MKi9100 installed in my SC earlier this week. seriously, dont know how i got along without it!!! great buy and a must add on for any 02'-05' SC owner.

Does the Parrot module / display fit down in the recessed portion of the ash tray or does it stick up to the lid?
(I put my sunglasses in the ash tray and can still close the lid but they don't extend down into the recessed / trash area.)

yea, www.quickconnectproducts.com sell the correct harness. as for install, could be a ez if u happen to be handy with that kinda stuff. truth being, id ratter hire a professional to do the wk. didn't take him long and he only charged me $50 bucks, which I'm willing to pay for that peace of mind; that in case anything breaks these guys are covered and will replace the part. all in all, a great add on. send me a pm if i can help u out with anything else.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to help anyone out that might be trying the parrot

To install the parrot the module goes into the factory radio NOT the amp in the trunk if you are using the quick connect harness. I've noticed this referenced wrong more then once

Here's a link on how to remove the factory stereo. It's the same for 02 and 03
http://www.sound-repair.com/index.ph...-instructions/

Once the parrot is installed If you hit the red button it changes to the factory cd/radio. If you want to use the parrot you just press the ****

Installation was super easy and so far the parrot is working great

Also if you have any questions I'd be happy to try and help. Picked up my sc430 about a week ago and had to fix the front woofers, sub and install the parrot. I'm fairly familiar with tearing everything apart now
