Default "noise" when changing radio stations

Does anyone hear a sound coming from the right rear side when changing radio station presets (stock ML, no mods)? It sounds like the DVD in the nav system spins when I change the radio. Only for a second or two, bur clearly audible and never again until I change the station. Never noticed it in my ES w/ML and Nav.

That is the antenna automatically lengthing or shortening to achieve the best length for the frequency of the radio station to which you are listening.

Johnny I thought the antenna moved up or down when switching from AM to FM I was not aware that if you were on FM that the antenna would raise or lower from FM station To Fm station

I believe it has 2 FM positions, and will change when you go from a low frequency station to another FM station in the higher half of the dial. I do not think it changes length when you change stations that are close to each other on the dial (but I might be wrong on this).
