Hi all,

I have a pair of djsurfer's lenses on order.

When I receive them and get them installed I'll share a review with you.

Regards,

Dave

Thanks again Dave, my source tech that makes the housing just updated me that they are being finished and should be shipped out tomorrow if not first thing Monday. Looking forward to help make more of these available at the much more affordable price and better look than the OEM orange ones. Glad to be able to help with my idea and provide a source for them. Let me know once arrived and installed!!

Miguel

Default VA marker lens color

Hi! Miguel

I just got stuck in the safety inspection and white LEDs were rejected in the front side markers. The LEDs must be ambar all the time. Looks like I need your Lens for the front with clear or ambar lenses. With the clear lens can I put in an ambar LED or bulb?

Sewell has the OEM side markers for about $50 each so if possible I'm looking for something cheaper.

PM me with your price and delivery time. Front only.

Thanks much, Greg

...wondering if that is a Virginia law ? I never had an issue getting mine inspected with my clear corners.Anyways if you don't purchase those, I have a set of OEM fronts that I'll sell you...shoot me a PM if interested

yes, strict interpretation of VA law. I have had these for 3 years with no problem. They also rejected the LED,s I have for the DLR's. I am going to upgrade the DLR's with a HID conversion to get a high beam back and keep the 6000K color temp.

Default 3D clear lenses

Note that often inspectors check the lens for the DOT letters which you can feel on the outside surface od the OEM lenses. Should be an easy detail to add to the design. Disclaimer - I dont know though if adding that is kosher ...

For anyone having problems with passing inspection with clear lenses, why not just use a colored led bulb as i did. Colored led bulbs can be easily found at autozone, advanced, or oreilly. Problem solved
