Default pie wheel cover alternatives

I just recently purchased a 2004 SC430. I am not too keen about the "Pie" center wheel covers. From the many posts here, I know the center covers are removable. Does any one have a photo of the 5-spoke wheels after the Pie center covers are removed (without any other covers)? If so, is any one driving without the pie covers? Do the wheesl need have the 5-spoke center covers to have the 5-spoke look?

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cool

Welcome to the California Division of Club Lexus! I too just came on board with a 04 SC! I wonder about the pie plates too...not sure what I will replace them with. I am still feeling my way around this new car

I don't have a photo of the wheels without covers, but trust me, you don't want to drive around like that (unless maybe you have large areas of the car painted in primer). Here are the replacement covers on my '02, which I consider a major improvement and well worth every penny.

Yes the stock wheels are ugly without the wheel discs. There is an E-bay seller that has replacement wheel dics just like the ones on tfichers beauty for under a $100.00 bucks for 4!! There are 2 choices, the chromed plastic twisted disk or the same in gloss black, have a look, either would be a huge improvement over the stock ones, they might make good frizbies!!

The first thing I did when I saw the 5 spoke covers was to grab them on a business trip in Calif. I was tempted to even put them on in Atlanta at the airport they looked so good.

For all of you that shoot long range...........these make great targets at 300m. Pizza wheels were the one part I did not like on my 2002 from day one.

Thumbs up Source for the genuine Lexus Center Caps

I searched e-Bay and found a seller that actually is a Lexus Dealer in St Louis. His e-Bay name is lexusstlouis. He agreed to sell me brand new alloy center caps that are the same as Tfischer's SC shown for $200. He has put these up e-Bay for auction from time to time and the last set went for $176. I don't have time to mes with a ll that and just PM'ed him.

That's a pretty good deal. I think I paid about twice that when they first came out, but being an early adapter has never been cheap.
