I considered it, but, at the time, it was much more expensive, and I decided to go with a cheap code reader that has a screen and a cable going to the OBDII port. For $19.99 it seems like it is worth a try.

I had an inexpensive code reader and then purchased this one about a year or so ago. Because I never really used it, the only thing that I remember is that it was very basic and had lots of limitations, therefore I would not recommend it.
