Anyone else find the driver's side armrest not soft enough?
 

My BMW had a much more cushioned armrest than my Sc does. The center console armrest is comfortable unlike the door armrest. Anyone else find this to be true for themselves?

Never even leave my arm on the armrest after the warnings in the manual about the airbag breaking your arm if you leave it there.

At 6'0" there is no way my arm can even touch the armrest as I would rather not have my face that close to the steering wheel. So I cannot comment on that much. I do know that my Hyundai had a more cushioning for the rear than my 540 seat. :p:p Or it could be the Excel did not push me back that the other car did. ;)
Tool a look at it more closely today; I suppose there could buee some more cushioning there.

umm interesting. i don't have much choices to compare with, but i use both the center and door armrest a lot, i don't feel it's that hard?!
