Default Tom"s 3uz Sc

http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/product/...ine_soarer.htm

may work with 1uz/2uz's as well, would have to chexk the intake mani bolt patterns. nice option to have though, considering the lack of production run blowers out there.

note the grill and hood on TOM"S car.

this is cool for the 06 crowd. i have to say this is the cleanest kit (and now has the rear apron). notice the quad tailpipes?

probably the best looking kit ive seen for the 430. thats also the best option for a supercharger ive seen for the 430 as well, if you dont go turbo and want more power.

I second that notion. "Best kit for SC Award 2006." Pictures so decieving, the interior is actually Candy Cane red instead of the cool Moroon Red as percieved.

what do you think about that supercharger? easy way to add a little power without the level of modification required to turbocharge? and being Toms it is an aggressive kit running fairly high boost for a compressor so the gain is quite noticeable in comparison to other superchargers out there which do not do as much, mainly the TRD chargers

The limited information on the supercharger is not encouraging. The old Rod Millen kit put out a bit more for alot less $$$. If memory serves, the Tom's kit gives you 80hp for the 10k asking price.
Kit looks great minus the hood. I need to order my side skirts from them shortly. It's just it takes so long to get I rather spend my money on more immediate endeavors.

Seems to me that you also need to buy Tom's exhaust pipe to fit the rear replacement bumper. $$$$$$$$$$

Some pics from my fellow Taiwanese. No funny paint color on his SC430
I think the front looks better on his 03's than 06's.
He has the Blitz kit on the rear bumper.

i think the new kits look better, especially the sides and rear. i am still not a fan out of the front

and the toms supercharger is aggressive? no way, it's so mild i don't see how it's worth the money at all!

i think the kit really does enhance the lines of the car overall. maybe it's the accents (blackened grill and intakes in the spoiler and side skirts) or the modification of the relative dimensions (the widened front bumper, deep skirts and widened back bumper) but the kit eliminates the weaker design aspects of the car. i really like the straight line running in the lower perimeter of the car.

i agree that the hood is weird looking and that perhaps they should have put in two intakes similar to the gt500 cars but smaller.

I was hoping that this kit would fit 02-05 but that's wishful thinking.

well they have one for 02-05, but it's a bit different design

the new one i am pretty sure it won't fit the 02-05, at least the front

weird looking ???
I think not, but it is just me though.
I have seen that car in person.
I would put that Tom's hood on my car any day if I can get a 70% off that price tag.

Also, I have the pic of the actual Tom’s compressor kit on SC430.
$10K is too much for only little performance you can gain.

354hp/57.0kgm

0~100m 5.6 (sec)
0~400m 13.5 (sec)
0~1000m 24.7 (sec)

i guess the closest would be to get the 02 front and the rest for the 06 if the rear bumper is the same. wonder if the quad pipes are just tips (like the carerra tips)?

do you think they toned down the s/c so that it wouldn't stress the engine and tranny? are these things lexus reliable?

Default Tom's Bumper

The 06 is a new bumper assy , It has provesions for the side marker lights and again no headlight washers holes, I had a 05 model Bumper and it would not fit the 06 since the headlight & grilll are different and It had no side marker provsion holes as you see in the silver sc430 pic above.

I will order the 06 model front and rear and the exhaust if I have too...

I have the sides and roof spoiler and have been waiting for Tom's to make the changes to the tool to make the 06 Bumper assy , I wish they were making them like the Lux-Mode and were made of Urethane , Not fiberglass?

I will wait for the U.S. model supercharger

Heres a rehashed photo of the hood (for those who havent seen it before). The emblem on the hood has been removed and filled in. I think its the best feature of my car.
