Thx for everyone's help!

Well, after lurking for a couple months on this forum I finally got an 06' sc430. Woohoo! :woohoo:

I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's tidbit of info on this forum. Every little bit helps. If it matters to anyone, these pics pretty much sealed the deal (especially the white w/Wald kit & Amistad wheels :D ):

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...1&page=2&pp=15

I've searched & searched on this forum as well as google & still can't find out where can I get more info on Amistad wheels such as:

Weight front/rear in 19" & 20" ?
Forged and/or cast for the face & lip?
Is the lip chrome or diamond cut?
TPMS compatible?
Hubcentric?
Do they make them in brushed aluminum or just polished silver?
WHERE CAN I GET THEM & cost?

Thx once again! :woot:

Congrat on your new car. I will try my best to answer your questions:

Weight front/rear in 19" & 20" ?
I have 19" and i think they are about 22 - 25 lbs the most (per wheel) This is just my EST.

Forged and/or cast for the face & lip?
CAST for both

Is the lip chrome or diamond cut?
Neither, its Anodized

TPMS compatible?
NOPE, but now not sure if you can request addition valve stem hole for OEM TPS like the ones offer by Work.

Hubcentric?
NO. But $15 for a set of hub rings will do the job.

Do they make them in brushed aluminum or just polished silver?
Silver, Polish Silver and Chrome. I am the one never understand the "Brushed Aluminum" finished. Maybe plain silver is what people commonly refer to B.A.??? (dont' think so tho)

WHERE CAN I GET THEM & cost?
Mn.... try Steve at Carson Toyota or Derrick at D2

actually i say it's a bit heavier. stock wheels are 25lb each, the 19s cast, usually it's about 26-29lb. hre 19s they are 25lb and they are forged (lighter) :)

still, stunning wheels :D

Thx for the help guys! I kinda figured if they're cast then they would be at least 28-30 pounds. FWIW, I had 19" HRE 841R's on my 03.5' (e46) M3 & the rears weighed 25.5 pounds each.

You're very welcome! :) The M3's ride is very stiff from the factory. Surprisingly w/the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers (set on the softest setting & slammed w/a couple notches left only), the ride was much smoother.

Here are the pics I just uploaded:

I would think about the new v8 M3 coming out soon but I just can't stand the plastic & bland interior of the Bangle stuff (based on seeing the new 3-series coupe interior). So it looks like I'll be looking for a sports car from another manufacturer when the time comes...

nice car there man, i think i saw it before. were you on e46fanatics?

anyway, yeah, all people i know with m3 said the pss9 made the car much better than stock!
