Stock Grille? Not mine

I was looking through some pictures and i saw the some people dont have the Lexus emblem on what appears to be the stock grille. so after taking mine off i have a large mounting bump that would be noticeable where the emblem is.

Is this an aftermarket grille? is my 02 different? the thing on mine is noticeable and i dont see it here.

That is a stock grill. The only thing that should be there is a small silver tab. You cant really see it unless you look at it real good.

I believe some people grind it off and paint the area.

I sanded mines down to get rid of that silver paint/

umm, that looks like..... my car

that's stock grille (only for 02-05 btw). just sand / grind it down. i did that, took out most of it, and then i use some black paint and bingo

Ahh, i thought you changed something on it because i can clearly see the little nub on there.

i guess ill have to break out the hacksaw and sandpaper.
