Hi Everyone.

To make sure that the quality of the content that is put forth on ClubLexus does not disintegrate we are putting some new rules and regulations for appropriate use of the site into effect.

They are as follows:

ClubLexus, The Lexus Community encourages a relaxed, censor-free atmosphere to discuss Lexus and other automotive related topics, and even occasional off-topic conversation.

While we would rather not have any rules at all, there are some basic posting guidelines that we will be enforcing, as to keep a professional and friendly atmosphere on our site.


1. In order to use all the features of this Bulletin Board you must first register.
2. A valid email address is required so please be advised that if you do not provide a valid email address the registering process can not be completed.

3. While we encourage lively debate and discussion, we will not tolerate personal attacks of any kind. Any person attacking another forum member will receive a warning and have their offense removed. Two more offenses and the offending member will have their posting priveledges on ClubLexus suspended for a period of two (2) weeks. After that two week period is over, the member will be placed on probation for a period of three (3) months in which any more offenses will cause their dismissal from ClubLexus.


If you have a problem with another member's comments in a posted thread, DO NOT respond with any further comments that will aggravate the situation. Members have two options of recourse....

A. Email the moderators of the forum in which the offensive comment is posted, directing them to the individual and thread in which the problem occurs.
B. Use the "Notify a Moderator" button on the bottom of the offensive post to accomplish the same thing.
C. Resolve the problem between both of you via email or Private Message (PM).

Reacting to a hostile post with more hostility puts YOU in jeopardy, and puts you at risk for action against your account.

If you have a complaint against one of the moderators or administrators handle this in private email not in the forum. Any threats or abusive treatment towards the moderators will result in immediate termination of your account.


4. Members are to respect the designated topics for each forum when posting their message. This includes off-topic, classified, group buy related, or any other sort of posting that does not directly go along with the topic that has been disignated for that forum. Those who post messages that do not relate to the topic area, will have their threads closed, moved or deleted.

5. Please do not post any profanity (harsh or mild) in the TOPIC/SUBJECT of your post. Also, any profanity that can not readily be heard on prime time network television will not be tolerated anywhere on the ClubLexus site.

6. Advirtising of any kind is prohibited in any posting area of ClubLexus. Individuals interested in advirtising on the ClubLexus site should contact the Administrator, Michael Kilty at mkilty@clublexus.com

7. The opinions and comments made in the posts written by our members are the rights to and the responsiblity of the individual member. ClubLexus assumes no responsibility for the content expressed or implied by its membership.

8. The inclusion of pictures within messages is allowed on this site. Referring to images on other sites should be done so sparingly if at all. This not only uses up bandwidth between sites but often the images are copyrighted and protected by that site. They are not to be included on our site without the express written permission of the owner of the copyrighted image(s).

9. Group purchases (group buys) are to be cleared with the Classified forum moderator, Stephen Withrow stephen@clublexus.com, or the site administrator mkilty@clublexus.com before they are posted. Any group buys posted without prior approval will be immediately removed.

10. Members should be aware that when placing an item for sale on ClubLexus in the Classified area, or when purchasing an item that was posted in the aforementioned area there is a "buy/sell at your own risk" policy in effect. ClubLexus is in no way responsible for any transactions that take place as result of a posting on this site. If there is a problem, it needs to be resolved between the parties involved.

11. Forum rules & guidelines are not up for debate. This is not a democracy, but rather a private forum. Anyone openly debating the rules we have set in place will be subject to the disciplinary actions that were laid out at the beginning of this document.

ClubLexus Moderators are not to be argued with in public when enforcing forum rules and guidelines. All members are welcome to speak with the moderator about their concerns in a polite and calm manner in private. It is within the moderator's discression whether to entertain said concerns.


We reserve the right to delete memberships for any reason with or without prior warning. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use ClubLexus to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to use the addresses of any member on the forum for any other purpose than personal communication with that member.

We reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless, ClubLexus, The Lexus Community and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). As a privately owned website we reserve the right to revoke your membership to the forum or disable your posting ability for any or no reason whatsoever.
