This is one of the best looking SC430 out there.

After going through numerous pages of beautiful cars in this thread, it has convinced me to get back into the modding game. Unbelievable how a simple add-on kit can change the look for the 430.

I have a couple questions though. How low are the Wald Exec and Aimgain kits? I've been through the "slammed" phase on my old SC and would prefer a kit that's got some ground clearance. Advice?

I can't give you the exact measurements, but Wald lip kit is a bit lower than Aimgain replacement kit.

Thanks, Talwang. I noticed that you have the Aimgain and some 20"s. How much tire gap do you have on your suspension set up and frontal ground clearance? Car looks hot!

As you can see in the pics, my sc is not sitting very low compared to some of the sc430 members who have coilovers here.

I would say the wheel gap is around 10mm all around.
Personally, I think sc430 should at least lower to zero wheel gap rocking 20" (half inch gap rocking 19") with good wheel fitment to look decently nice.
I don't lower my sc to that standard simply because the driveway of my new house is not lowered car friendly at all.

The bottom of my aimgain bumper to the ground is around 5.5"

Trust me, I know the feeling of not having a lowered car friendly driveway. With my old SC, I had to reverse out of my own driveway to clear it. It was a pain in the ***. Now that i have been driving a stock GS350 for the last 4 years, i've grown to love the comfort and "theft-deterrent" features of a bone stock car.

However, I'm now in the market for a new car and I'm very much leaning towards going back to my roots of modding a 2dr. The SC430 is so far the car of choice. I originally was going to buy a 2011 Audi S5, but come to realize with research how crappy and unreliable their cars are after 50K miles. The reliability of a Toyota/Lexus is unbeatable. Screw Euro "reliability."

I've avoided coming back to CL because of the temptation to mod; and when I mod, I do it to the max. Your car is my standard. The stance, setup, and what seems to be a great ground clearance is ideal. 5.5" ground clearance is awesome!

Thank you again for your help. I appreciate it!

Someone posted this body kit last year.
Origin is unknown, perhaps Germany or Poland.

Wow.. Very different.. I really like this. If the front bumper came down just a little lower.. Not a fan of the grill tho. Kinda reminds me of an Acura.. The rear = WIN all day.
