Default Looking at used SC430s

Hi all - my first post in this section... I'd appreciate any advice you could give me...

I am in the process of looking at a 2 or 3 year old SC430 for my parents, are there any specific things I should watch for in the 2002 or 2003 model years? Thanks for any and all help.

I know that there are a lot of `02s and `03s now coming off leases, so there should be some good low-mileage selections available. As far as things to look out for, I have experience with the `02 and `04 models and, other than the run-flats offering a very stiff and very non Lexus-like ride, I can think of nothing terribly problematic about this car. The only advice I would offer would be to purchase the car from a Lexus dealer, so that you can obtain and review the car's history with the previous owner and maybe even purchase it as a certified vehicle (that way you'll have a "new car" warranty).

Good luck with your search!

Ok, I can't decide between new and used ones... do any of you know of a website where there is a description/comparison of what has changed with each model year? Specifically I guess I'd like to find out what changes have been made between the 2002 and 2005 models.
