Default PAPA's got new shoes

Installed the new wheels/tires today. I lowered the car with the Bilstein PSS's about 1". I will probably go another 1/2 inch. Don't want to go too low but I still think the wheel gap is a little large. Wheels are Ruff Racing 279 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 at 20mm offset. No rubbing what so ever. Tires are Dunlop Durreza ,245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Ride is very good but the car needs an alignment which will be taken care of at the dealer next week (I no longer trust tire shops such as Discount or American). Overall the wheels do look much better in person vs the pics. MUCH BETTER.

Lee

Picture does not do it justice. Those are 9.5" with 275's in the rear! Problem is the SC rear profile is so wide.

Here is another angle.

Lee car looks good, we did the right thing going with the low offset. Enjoy and thanks again. Can't believe we were able to beat out RITA to still get you your wheels rather quickly .

Thanks everyone. I was hoping the 20mm offset would allow the TT front brakes to be carried over and it appears from initial measuring that there is plenty of room for the TT calipers

Looks like D2 has done it again! I'm really glad the Status Ruff wheels are working so well for the Lexus clientele. In many cases we struggle to find wheels that are cost effective, staggered, clear bbk, and look nice for under a certain price point (ie, these wheels for under 2k shipped with rubber).

One thing that really sets these apart is the fact that there are different molds for different offsets, thus the SC spec has a larger lip than the GS spec (normally 1pc wheels have a "1 size fits all' lip spec)

I have been very happy with these wheels, and I received some great news from Status Alloys at SEMA regarding upcoming new styles, 20" diameters, etc etc

Thanks for your business Lee, and enjoy your wheels!

Lee, the car looks great. Are you local as to So. Cal. in LA/OC area? I am not sure if dealership is a good place for a "professional alignment" job given you have aftermarket wheels (potential scratches) and the car is lower. I just had my SC alignment done at West End by Darin. He is probably the best I have ever work with. PM me if you need his information.
