Stock Offset & Wheel Fitment Question
Sorry guys, but if you can answer a quick question. What is the stock offset of the SC430? I believe it is 38+ offset?.... Also, I have an extra set of wheels for my boosted IS300 18" X 9" 45offset and 18" X 10" 45offset in Blitz Type 03s. I was wondering if this would fit on the SC430. I know it's not ideal offset nor is it ideal diameter (better with 19"s or 20"), but I was just going to put it on for a day or two. Last but least, if the Type 03s fit, what do you do with the tire pressure sensors that the SC430 has?...Tks in advance...

Yes, stock offset is +38.
As for the tire sensors, they likely won't fit into the valve stems of your wheels, like most after market wheels. You can disable the warning lights & beeper as instructed in the FAQ thread. Some wheel manufacturers such as HRE do provide straps to band the sensors to their wheels so you can continue to use them.

I found posted in several threads that stock offset is +45 (including Bob from HRE)... I'm not expert in the SC wheels though... just good with search

They looked it up in a book with fitment info to help them find the right wheels that would work for different car models. They found me the right wheels that fit though, but could have given me a wrong number, who knows ?

Well, tks for the replies. Looks like I'm going to have to do it the hard way, and just install the wheels and see if it fits. I just didn't want to deal with the air sensors just to find out it doesn't fit.....

Why not just skip the air sensors for now? The car won't explode or anything if the light comes on.
Toss them pups on there and see if they fit!
Sorry, wish I knew the sock offsets, but I have Maya TS aftermarket wheels, and I don't even know the offset on them!

Even knowing the offset of your aftermarket wheels that works on the SC430 still doesn't necessary answer the question of what the offset of the stock wheels are.

No, but it would at least give an idea of what does fit on an SC430 both at stock ride height and lowered with my Tein CS kit that just got installed today! (I can't wait to go check it out!)

Yeah, tks guys. At least if I knew if someone did fit 9"s and 10" with 45offset on stock height, I would just slap them on, but didn't want to go thru all that mess with the air sensors without having somewhat of an idea, but looks like I have no choice. I will let you guys know if it fits or not. Maybe from there, you will have a spectrum of size/offset/diameter for what a SC430 can fit and make it a sticky. ttyl.

2savvy in one of the threads I found said his 18" Ld1s were +45, but don't recall the width... might be worth a PM to him

For what it's worth, I just confirmed with the dealer from which I got my BBS wheels(18x8) for my SC430 that their offset is 38, but the guy I talked to this time cannot confim that the SC430 stock offset is also 38.
