Does anyone have a resource, other than a dealer, for front struts for a 2008 SC430? I saw a reference for the one below that fits a 2004 SC430 but Amazon says it does not fit my 2008. I can't imagine the 2008 are that different. Please help me!!

There is a difference in the model number for the 2002-2005 SC430 and the 2006-2010.

Looks like as far as I can tell the best option I can find is the Lexus OEM.
So far the best price I've found is $163.98 x 2 for a total of $327.96.

 

I know you asked for a non-dealership but I have found great sales at these places:

I usually go through Bell Lexus (AZ) or Treasure Coast Lexus (FL) for all my OEM needs.

They usually have sales around holidays / seasons / celebrations on top of their already discounted prices and with their FREE Shipping and NO Sales Tax, it’s a bonus for me as my local sales tax is over 10%. If you can wait for a sale I’d keep checking their websites.

Other non-dealership websites like lexusparts.com, etc., charge shipping and tax, so even if you find parts cheaper from other places, you still have to pay shipping and tax.

The Part Number 4851080423 you provided says it’s fits 2004-2010 Lexus SC 430 and here’s links to both places:

Bought a pair of front struts for 2008 sc430 recently from amayama. Made by KYB and in toyota packaging. Approx £100 each (depending on exchange rate) to UK. Not had a chance to fit yet but they are identical to those fitted.

 

KYB 341266 has just a tiny different in the area that the spring sits. I replaced them two months ago and it seems working fine for me so far.

these aren't bad prices on struts, considering I just sold a rare 944S2 with sport Koni's. Other than the spring compression, assuming the front strut job is pretty easy on our SC's? I have a 2004.
