Default Replacement Door Speakers

I've got a blown door speaker on my 2002 SC430.
Anybody had experience replacing them?
Are OEM speakers required or are there other options that fit?

Many thanks!

You probably have all of them blown due to rotting of the foam surround. The OEM are great speakers. Save yourself hundreds. And no, I am not associated with the company but I have used their products with great success.

Yup.

My door speakers were fine, but all 3 of the rear one's needed doing. Took me 4 hours, start to finish, including the hour glue drying time after gluing the foam to the cone and then again after gluing the foam to the frame.

This thread was VERY helpful.

Just replaced front 6x9 with new OEM speaker. The foam around the speaker was completely gone. I have the refoam kit but didn’t want to mess with it. Took about 30 mins to replace. Try happy.

I had an audio shop replace with after market but they needed to create a bracket for the aftermarket speakers. I kept the original blown Mark Lev speakers. The after market ones work just fine and I see little if any difference between original and after market.
