Good Morning. I took my vehicle that has the gold package to have the rims reconditioned and straightened. They did a great job on straightening the rims. In hindsight, I wish I just had them straighten the rims and nothing else. However, they painted the rims and the gold cap with the gold plated "L" emblem on it and it looks terrible. I will be speaking with them on Tuesday. I thought they would simply polish the exterior that did not happen. Can the paint be removed and the rims restored to their original condition. They are aluminum alloy wheels? Does anybody have any suggestions, short of me simply buying new OEM wheels and caps. I purchased the car new and it only has 65K miles on it. Thanks to all.
