WTB 5 speed swap parts for sc300
Posting in regards to finding 5 speed parts preferably r154 although power goals are for around 400hp. Currently automatic. Thanks in advance. I have noticed that it's best to put up a post and be patient. Plan do have swap done around September.

What model R154 are you looking for? The nicer, late model R154's are pretty pricy. People usually only spend that money if they are aiming for 500-700hp and NEED to spend it. Mine is great but it cost me a grip! You can also look at the Nissan KA and CD009 transmissions. The KA is super affordable and will take 400. The CD009 swap is pricy but awesome.
At 400 HP you are right at the line of what a W58 can take. The W58 came on the Sc300 so you could buy the entire swap from a wrecked Sc300 5 speed and pop it in. That's only if you are really staying at 400.
Good luck on whatever you choose!

Thanks yea I have juggled it around as far as transmissions go. I'm auto so I figure if I'm already starting from scratch. Figure I would put a transmission in that can take the power without worrying about it blowing up. Basically get it done right the first time . I've considered the cd0009 but still sceptical on the idea.
