I have a set of TEIN SS coilovers on my car. They handle great and feel great, but they're stiffer than I want anymore. They have height and dampening adjustment.

I want to say there are maybe 30,000 miles on them but I don't remember exactly. I bought them used years ago and drove the car very little recently. Rebound on the shocks is great, hardly any bouncing from the springs.


I'm looking to maintain the same level of suspension drop that I am running now (maybe 2" from stock?), but with a more stock like ride. I've read that the MKIV KYB or Bilstein shocks, coupled with Eibach pro-kit springs might fit the bill.

If you're looking to upgrade to a sportier set-up than your MKIV combo, this may be for you.

I'll also buy your existing set up, if I can get someone to buy mine and it ends up not leaving me without a car. This is my DD, can't be down more than a weekend.

Sorry, I made this thread prematurely. After some searching today I've decided to try some different options before swapping out the coilovers.

This thread can be closed. If I go back to the plan of swapping the coil overs, I'll shoot you a PM.
