FS: '93 SC300 W58 5-speed trans, SC W58 front driveshaft, other W58 parts
I am selling the W58 5-speed from my 1993 SC300 plus the matching W58 SC front driveshaft (minus the carrier bearing) and some other W58 parts as a set.
This was removed from the car last week in fine running condition when I installed an R154. Nothing wrong with it. Shifting is fine and normal in all gears. This is the 92-94 style with the metal extension. I am the second owner of the vehicle it's come out of which hadn't been modified until I bought it. This transmission has NEVER seen boost. During my ownership I never clutch dumped or power shifted.
Sorry, no shifter is included with this sale.
--W58 5-speed manual transmission (early style) w/ new Marlin Crawler nylon shift seat and
--W58 SC300 front driveshaft (minus carrier bearing)
--W58 slave cylinder (used) with mounting hardware
--W58 throwout bearing (new in bag from ACT)
--Toyota W58 early shifter bushing for the bottom of shift lever (new in bag)
--Driftmotion stainless steel clutch line for SC300 (brand new)
--Toyota W58 early shift bushing used from two years ago with rubber grommet (both used)
Asking $500TRANSMISSION AND PARTS HAVE BEEN SOLD!
I'd prefer a local pickup. I can look into shipping but be advised this won't be cheap.
Additionally, I have a used ACT Stage 2 pressure plate and matching clutch. The disc has some life left in it but I only offer both of these if desired to go with the trans.
Also, I do have the original W58 flywheel but I was advised it was beyond resurfacing. I will hang onto this and the clutch until the transmission is sold in case anyone wants any of them.
Edit: My apologies-- after having just inspected the flywheel I have to rescind this for availability. The reason being that the areas where the dowel pins are have been ruined in order to reuse those pins on the flywheel currently in my car. Sorry about this. I did not realize this before mentioning it was available. Everything else is as described and pictured.
