PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Ok guys so 1st up is my Powerglide Drag ready Tranny with Adapter plate for 2JZ, Converter and Flywheel, also has Shifter and cable with it.. This Tranny is NEW, I never used it on the car, I ordered all parts brand new but decided to change my set up so I was hoping someone on here with a more serious set up would want to buy or trade this..

I have a beautiful 3rd Gen RX7 and am going 2J, the car was going to make around 800-1000hp so I decided to go with a Powerglide and be serious, but all in all I'd like a more comfortable and streetable car I can drive around easier so this is the only thing holding me back from completing my build.

Again everything is NEW!! I've only had the Tranny for about a month, it's been sitting in my studio/office in my house along with all the parts.

PRICE: Tranny $1500
Adapter $1000
Converter $1000
Shifter w/ cable $200

Total I paid and asking price: $3700 OBO

ALSO: Will trade for R154 Tranny and cash on top (your end), OR V160 6 speed Tranny (Even Trade if you have all components.)

This came directly from TD Autowerkes here in Miami straight into my hands and was never used as stated above.. I'd like to see my money back as everything is brand new and it's the same as if getting it from a shop, Damien from TD can vouch for me on this..

I put OBO because I will consider REASONABLE offers, but not too much room for negotiation as everything is brand new and convenient.. I had to wait weeks to get everything in..


2nd We have 2 REAR Weld Alumastar Wheels.. These are new as well but didn't fit on the car as I measured incorrectly..

USED M/T Drag Radial 325 Tire on the wheels, still has good amount of Tread on them..

I have two soarer R154s I might trade you for....one is complete, shifter, bellhousing, etc. The other is just the longer tailhousing and the transmission itself. No bellhousing, no shifter, but it does have BRAND NEW snychros and the marlin crawler thrust washer upgrade.

Which shifter do you have?

Will your adapter work with a 700r4/th400?
What converter are you using? Stall?

A v160 transmission by itself without any component is already worth 4k..

I won't part out the stuff so not sure.. Besides Powerglide is the way to go if you want to be fast, also holds more power, I know a few 8 second cars running the same tranny set up I have (all 2J cars) and a 1500whp 2J Mustang with same set up..

Stall is around 5500, 1st gear is a 1.76

False good sir, I've actually seen a few sell for 3K-3.5K... I can get one brand new from Toyota for 5K, why would I pay 4K for a tranny with 150K miles on it?

Where are you getting a brand new V160 for $5000? Can you post the dealership's name?
