I dunno why people risk using injectors with a resistor box. it's one more thing that can fail (and in a big way)
someone on Supraforums lost their engine due to the resistor box failing during high boost

ALSO you won't risk frying the ECU if the resistor box has a short (saw this on a skyline forum, it's also mentioned in the SF NA section)
Probably because the factory does it... There are a LOT of cars on the market that use resistor boxes, and, even a properly designed custom resistor box will be just fine in terms of reliability...

I think the problem with the ones going bad is due to the fact they are using "Used" resistor boxes, and not new ones. The used ones have an unknown history...

no, haven't flow tested them, but then they've only used for for maybe 30 mins total while on the dyno
