will this fit right in place of the stock headunit?

 

The screen will, but not the tower. The tower can basically be placed/mounted anywhere in the car you would like (trunk, under the seat, on the floor, maybe even modify it into the glove compartment). I planned on just laying it on the passengers side floor. Or behind the drivers seat.

 

i just started to research more info about carputers and am very interested in building one... this might keep me from having to get terribly involved. I will carefully consider purchasing your prebuilt unit while accessing my options. If still available when i compile all my info,i will contact you (in near future). if not sold to me, good luck with your sale!
