Default SC430 Rubber Gasket Maintanence

So I have a 2002 SC430 and was wondering if there's anything that should be done to keep the exterior rubber gaskets in shape? I'm referring specifically to the gaskets that are between the folding portions of the top and along the door panel. Normally the car is garaged, but I've been driving it more and more. I've noticed that a few are starting to get have a sort of dried out, ashy, white appearance and would like to make them look fresh again. I just wondering what anyone would recommend. Thanks.

303 is absolutely the best thing for the gaskets, including those around the trunk and around the door edges. If yours already shows signs of become dry, you may be too late, so I would suggest you get some right away.

Thanks for all the help guys. Seems like O'Reilly sells 303, so i'm gonna stop off tomorrow. I hope it's not too late. Thanks again.

There's also a fantastic product made by Wurth (Rubber Care Gel Stick) specifically for auto weather gaskets. Comes in a sponge-tipped applicator which is convenient. About $15 but outstanding stuff.

I've found the Wurth product on several sites - some say 'out of stock', and some say 'cannot ship by air'. It looks like you can get it. Great stuff and easy to apply.

Again this forum is helpful. I just ordered a 303 protectant from the UK which is close to me (Denmark) so thats perfect. Look forward to use the product.

I also bought some Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour from the same vendor. Thats like a nano treatment for the wheels. I have seen youtube clips from many brands and this one should last up to a year. Water and dirt just comes of with water and nothing else. No need to scrub hard. I also like in fact that its transparant. Other products have color, but i have alot of spokes and holes where its difficult to get colored "Wax" out of.

This can be bought by the gallon. Much cheaper. Fleabay or Amzoon.
