Default 02'-05' headlight conversion to 06'( all your answers will be in here)

I've read all the threads on this conversion with no real answers.

-02 bumper and grill can stay

-02 leveling motors work

-all that needs changing is the bulbs.

Correct me where I'm wrong to make this work.

If there is a thread where all the steps are given, please link me.

41 looks and no answers.

Ok, I will pick up some headlights and try this. Also going to order a roof spoiler and trunk spoiler too.

Going to pick up Behrman, looks just like Tom's

Use old leveling motors since 02-05 don't have afs plus your old harness won't fit the new motor.

Old bumper should fit, but not an 100% perfect fit unless you trim it.

I just circled the area that won't fit perfectly since the pointy portion of 06 Headlight is a slightly longer than that of pre 06 headlight.

06+ front complete conversion.

06+ headlight ONLY

06+ front bumper ONLY

YES - all you need above are new HID Bulbs e.g. Philips XenEco HID bulbs OEM D4S 42402 CLICK HERE

Make sure you fit the new bulbs before u set the headlights in place, otherwise it will be a lot of handacrobatic work to fit the bulbs on assembled headlights

marcus

Thank you so much talwang. I have read over a couple threads (just like TLW) and your post w/ pictures answers more questions than anything else I have found.

No problem.
Anyone can do a better job than I if he is willing to do his homework.

Btw, you can even make 06+ speedometer as well as afs to work on 02-05 if you can spend more $$$$$.
I have seen a couple of them in Japanese magazines and web sites already.

TW, where are you finding all these pics of the SC hooked up?

Thanks again to you and Marcus for providing some info. I will buy a set and take pics of any issues I come across.

I am about to the purchase the Behrman trunk spoiler. Andy(D-woman) came by yesterday and looking at his Tom's trunk spoiler, it seemed to hang over the tails just a bit too much for my liking.

Do you have any pics of the Behrman spoiler?

Thanks,

Johnny

I agree 100%. It seemed like all the threads never gave a straight answer to what needs to be done. I was hoping Gammalex posted up what needed to be done, but search brought up nothing.

Can't wait to do this.

This SC430 is one of the first 06+ conversion in Japan and was posted a few times here before.

Default Thanks!

Thanks to both TLW and Talwang. I've been looking for a clear answer to the question as well.

Now that the antenna issue has been brought up, I'm hoping there's an easy solution, that thing's freakin' ridiculous!

Good to see I wasn't the only one.

Things I've got cooking.

- Gold Endless brakes
- Zeal Coilovers
- Thinking of mixing and matching kits- '02 ANSWER full bumper with fogs with job design '06 rear and side skirts.

Going to do Work T1s wheels with some nice offsets

Thoughts?
