A mechanic replaced my power steering hose, and when I got the car back, the dash light was out and the RPM isn't working. I took it back to them to see if they could quickly figure out the problem, but since they couldn't, I have to leave the car with them on Monday.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? I've seen the needles flicker orange very briefly, if that helps.
Yup, radio and a/c are working. I just did some more searching, and it looks like battery reset might solve the problem. I will report back after trying that.

I'm glad that resolved your situation. For future reference to other posters when you disconnect the battery and reset everything it doesn't always come back 100%. The amount of posts on the forum where people had work done and some element of the speedo has died are too many to count. Sometimes resetting it multiple times is needed to make it work correctly. The lighting being out and coming back on is just blind luck. The bulb filament is dead and misfires are indicators to replace. Smacking the dash helps lights come back on sometimes, but all the smacking and resets are really doing are re-popping the filament with energy trying to get the old stuff to refire.
