Default 1JZ cam swap for 2jz

Need some help here, i have a 1jz Soarer that's in the shop now, i got some 2jz cams the other day., is it possible to replace the 1jz cams with the 2jz.

Can it be done, whats the advantages and disadvantages of doing such a swap.

I need to build about 500whp or close, I'm just getting started, it has a single turbo conversion already, but still the SMIC, looking to go FM soon, Im still running the auto Tranny, extremely hard to find a manual conversion in my country, and to ship it in is a bit rough on my pockets.

Need some help getting to 500.

you need to have the 2jz cams machined to fit... save yourself the time/ effort and money and just get some cheap bc 264s

and when you say your country.... looks like your in new york lol 5 speed is all over the place!

Cheap Brian Crower cams 264/264? Cheap?
Some of you guys must be loaded.
They are $600 at the cheapest I can find.
Not really an Item i'd buy used.

You might as well get these. I've heard nothing but good things about them. here is a comparison.
