Ok... today Yanked my old Bumper off

We just mocked up the bumper... I have yet to modify anything... and I haven't mounted it. This is literally just sitting there on the car, with the hood closed.

I would say pretty decent fitment to just come straight from factory.
It's AITracing bumper.

The high beams holes need a little shaving but it's a pretty close and good fit.

I also installed my radar detector system that has the remote mounted readers on the front and rear bumper areas.

It came out real nice afterall. I bet more kits would be sold under this combination. Also, your ride is super low so is it super stiff? I just don't think it's very practical driving a car that low in the city streets of California, where I'm from. But if you don't leave it that low, it would totally change the apprearance of the ride especially with a kit on. But if you're okay with it, it's one hell of a nice ride!

This local guy has the kit and put alot hours in that front bumper to make it fit. Big A$% gap between the headlight and the bumper ,i saw it with my own eyes.
I'm not trying to argue with you but many people leave out the fact that their cars have been in accidents before and yet blame the kit for bad fitment. Usually SC's have gone around through a few owners, especially since when these cars came out it's the older generation that purchased them brand new. Another problem is craptastic body shops, which I'm sure people are aware of.

I have purchased Shine's kits for my other cars before. One of my cars I bought brand new and very shortly after went to Shine for one of their replica kits. The fitment was spot on. I trust that the Shine AC replica kit will fit perfectly on my SC since I purchased it from my cousin who bought it brand new back in 96' and never got into a fender bender. The bumper is still the original paint even though it's a bit chipped up from wear and tear through the years.

From first hand experience all of Shine's kits are molded directly from the original part so in this case Auto Couture's kit. They make adjustments necessary before making a final kit. Ken is very **** about fitment and go as far as making multiple molds before releasing their products.

This is their office a few years ago when I went to pick up my parts. Ken even showed me around the facility but told me not to take pics of some proprietary molding techniques his employees were doing.

This is my 350z with Shine's Power House Amuse replica kit. (- the rear)

Anyways back to topic, I'm in here because I'm also looking for AC front with Vertex sides and rear.

haha. i knew someone would be feeling my pain here on the East coast.

I lived in vegas for the past 6 years and was able to have my car an inch off the ground without any worries. everything there is like brand new. haha. then come back to ny and i feel i have to put a lift on my car rather than lower it. And ****. on my last car, i cracked my downpipe trying to get in my driveway. haha.

has anyone done shine front bumper with stock 97+ sides and rear?
Want to get the shine front only wondering if it was to much for the rest of the 97 body.
