Im not sure what this wire is? I have my suspicions that it has something to do with the radio (antenna related). I have a very hard time picking up AM stations, so i hope it has something to do with the antenna.

anyways heres a pic of the little guy. It comes out near the trunk strut on the drivers side. Ive search ALL OVER the trunk and cant find where it might go

 

yea it does look like the ant. wire but im not positve about that- i would have to look to make sure- hopefully someone answers your question for you- ill host the picture for ya

 

 

If I remember correctly, it goes to the factory power antenna. Does your sc have an antenna installed? Maybe your antenna is not the factory original?

 

as far as i know its the factory antenna. It looks like a fishing pole lol, and all the other wires on the wiring harness in the trunk fit. ill take another look at the antenna itself.

Does anyone know if the sc's have the diversity antenna? The supras have the main "fishing pole" antenna, and then another is actually located inside the hatch lid
