Default My new black interior :) !

Merry Christmas guys....

Well, I finally have my interior presentable and I'm pretty proud of it, so I thought I'd post some pics I still have to do the headliner....I might do it in black suede!

Well here they are...I used a combination of black leather dye / vinyle dye and black flexible paint for plastic surfaces...yes, I've stumbled on a good bit of not-so-real leather in the 'ol Lex!! Either way, turned out pretty good and I daily drive it with no signs of wear or other dye coming off, etc.

Any feedback / tips are appreciated.

Jay

Next steps for me:

1) wrapping the wood trim on the dash / doors in carbon fiber - doing that in the next few weeks
2) headliner - black suede
3) Got a set of Gunmetal / polished 18s
4) Strap on the baby 57mm turbo I have sitting in my garage!

I'd say leave the wood alone! It looks fantastic like that!

Keep up the good work!

That's quite a change. It looks great

I ended up doing this on one of my SC's that was half done by the IDIOT I bought it from. I hated doing it.

Looks awesome Jay!

Great job -- interior swaps aren't easy. They take more patience than I have... I just end up getting annoyed and forcing it, breaking clips and causing havoc!

I don't think he did an interior swap John...that's a nice dye job Jay!

I'd paint the radio trim black and get a black eBrake and it'll look

FYI: I have OEM black interior and the headliner is gray.

sweet....when can I bring my car up for you to do? I would swap out that wood for carbon fiber.. why stop there...carbon fiber the head liner too... might be cheaper than suede.
