Default Lock Issues = Rekeying

Hey everyone,

I have a minor issue. When I purchased my SC400 it had no trunk lock at all. Just a hole where the cylinder should have been. I have since then found one at a junkyard. Is it possible to get the cylinder rekeyed? Secondly, is there still somebody on here who can make copy keys? My master key is pretty beat up.

Thanks in Advance

For the master key go to a Lexus dealer and have them make you a key the machine they use does not copy your key it makes it from either VIN info or the code stamped into the passenger door lock. Ask the dealer if they need the lock or can do it via VIN.

Locksmith can key your lock for you or do it yourself but you'll need a collection of tumblers. I collect them.
