Hey fellas, I've been viewing these forums the past couple months since I bought my 95 SC for general help and maintenance on my car and it's time I ask a question I haven't found on Google or these forums.

The mufflers on my car bolted off pretty easy and me being a young guy I ofcourse unbolted them and have been running them like that because I enjoy the rumble of the 1UZ. But the Bluetooth exhaust look has been annoying me and I'd like to finally get a pipe in it.

The only problem is the resonators dump out at a weird bent angle and I haven't been able to find a pipe or muffler that would bolt up to the same holes the resonators use. I don't have too much money as I spent the vast majority of my savings buying my car and can't take it to a proper shop to have an exhaust welded on.


I just wanted to know if any one of y'all know any pipes that'll bolt up to this angle and go through the already cutout tip holes on the body. If not I'll probably keep it this way until I can afford a different exhaust system but any help goes along way!

There are still bolt on axle back kits out there - if you don't want to have an exhaust shop do it properly a bolt on set up will be your best bet! I believe there are some relatively cheap options out there still such as Manzo, but I don't know what availability is like these days. Your other option might be to just have the exhaust shop run straight pipes with tips out of the bumper hole to keep some good sound and keep you on a budget.

 

Fujitsubo, Tanabe, Pacesetter and copies of the Manzo (aka M2) catback mufflers should still be available for 1992-2000 SC300/400's. All of those manufacturers sell aftermarket dual catback muffler replacements for these cars.
