Default XS POWER turbo replacement??!?!??

My Xs power turbo finally died, exhaust side leaking oil. I bought a Borg Warner Sxe362 and its ****ing massive compared to my "67" mm xs power one. Like wont fit under my intake with the xs-power exhaust manifold. The wheel in the impeller is smaller than the xs power wheel but the outer size of the Borg is much larger.

What turbo have you guys use'd with the XS power manifold?

Do i bite the bullet and just get a Treadstone for another 400 and a new 2 bolt wastegate for 250? xs power has a 4 bolt wastegate flange

Xs power had smaller hotsides to clear the throttle body. Borg stuff is usually bigger, I think you will need to do a different turbo manifold, different intake manifold, or cut and weld an angle on the throttle body etc to fit that turbo.

Gerry's recent NA-T setup used a Treadstone IS300 style manifold. But with a 2JZ-GE VVT-i head. I've always liked the Treadstone manifolds myself but I'm not sure if one is available for the 1992-1997 2JZ-GE Non-VVT-i head. Treadstone does make a similar compact manifold for the 2JZ-GTE cylinder heads.

I think the largest turbo he was able to fit on his in an SC while still clearing the shock tower was a 58mm or 62mm Precision.

2jzge non-vvti and vvti have the same manifold patterns, so you can use one of those if you want but the turbo will sit lower which is good for the stock intake manifold.
I forget what sizes of turbo's fit with the treadstone but I think the common ones do, gerry did have some pictures in his build thread with the vvti head but should be the same turbo wise for the non vvti head.

I got a .83 twin scroll borg housing coming the smallest they offer with the sxe300 series of turbos so we shall see if i can get it in there or not. I did order a rebuild kit for the xspower turbo either way.

It was the XS power one. I really would have bought another one from them if they had ANY customer service.... i've got a 64 mm garrett on there right now. gtw3884 64mm .83 ar divided and it feels about the same but much smoother instead of spiking to 20 psi. pics coming soon. i had to modify the throttle body a half an inch cut off to make it fit.

That was a good move. I would up moving to a tread stone. That move requires a different downpipes and a 44mm wastegate adapter. I also had to port-match the wastegate hole. I do love the tread stone though. It is SUPER responsive!

With some work , a Borg Warner S369sx-e will fit on the thread stone manifold. I even fit a Precision PT-7175 CEA . Check my build thread , I had pictures there.

I use a Borg Warner S360 now on a very responsive +600rwhp vvti NA-T setup . Always use the smallest turbo that can get you into your power goal so it is not laggy but will still get you on your power goal.
