Ahh I see! I think I have the ACT extreme street/strip that's only rated to about 400 lb/ft. At this time I don't have any plans to move away from stock turbo's or ECU, so until then it's ****ty tires and soft launches to make this clutch/w58 last as long as possible!

I think at that level it really just comes down to tires. If you go to the drag strip on radials you're going to break it. If you're driving around the street just spinning half the time on regular so-so tires, you'll be alright for longer than you think lol.

Whoa! Congrats! Pricey transmission swap but by all accounts that will be the last manual transmission you will have to buy for your SC if you have big power plans. Bulletproof.

Which of Grannas' clutch kits are you pairing with it and what rear end ratio are you going to use? He has stated in a video that even 3.769 is OK with that transmission but Gerrb has said to me that 4.272 is actually the ideal for use with the T56 Magnum.

I've put two transmissions in my car and ill be honest im sick of doing it lol. My biggest gripe with the car was putting used transmissions in it.

On the product page he has a mention of rear gear:This transmission's gearing is quite a bit different than the factory V160, therefore the rear gearing will be too high (3.13). You will need a 4.00 or taller gear to make the car not sluggish, and will perfectly match the V160 gearing. More info on gear ratios can be found on this page I created T56 Magnum vs V160.

I currently have the auto diff 4.27 in there, and i was thinking of ordering a KaaZ 2 way LSD for that diff until i can afford the 8.8 swap. Hell the stock diff & kaaz might just hold up for awhile. I got the Stage 4 McLeod clutch kit he just released details on last night, single disk 6 puck, 625 ft lb rating.
