Koni's??

Guys,

I have noticed on most cars, most people tend to go with the Eibach/ Koni route. I have not seen anyone here even mention Koni even though they are extremely popular??

Are Koni's not available for the SC400 or are they just not a good choice.

Thank you guys and take care

Jonny, you will find that Koni's are ok for Legends, or the more popular one, but on SC's, they are either not widely available, and inferior to the other products available. You should check out the FAQ on www.intellexual.net in regards to susp differences. The problem here - you may want to pgrade wheel size, body kit, etc....coilovers are the best way to go (JIC or TEIN). some folks use the Eibach and KYB setup or Espelir and KYB or H and R and KYB setups.....me, I ordered the JIC coilovers...that is like the cream of the crop,,,,and on group buy for 1200 shipped in the CONUS.....normally much more ;)

Leon,

Thx for the imput man - I appreciate it. I see you are just as much a help here as you were over on the Legend forums. Unfortunately my eyes are bigger than my wallet so I am going to have to mod my new ride slowly. So, I guess I will start with the wheels and save up for the suspension. I would have loved to have gotten into the GB but unfortunately it is not feasible right now. All in good time my friend

Peace Leon

I've had koni adjustable shox on my 240SX and those things were IMO better than the tokico's and kyb's felt on other's in regards to the "feel" of the ride and their dampening,... but that was some yrs ago, so who knows,.. maybe they are as fresh and clean as i thought:confused:

I had supra koni (yellows) they were height and damper adjustable and are great shocks in my opinion. Ive dealt with Kyb and tokikos in the past just so u know what i am comparing them to.

koni red's are just simply shocks w/out height and damper adjustibility (imo go w/ the kyb's instead)

koni yellow's have hide and comfort adjustibility
