Default Steering Rack distorted boot

Hello- I have a 1992 sc400, it has been sitting in my garage for about 2 years and now I have the time to restore it. I am in the process of replacing the following parts, but I ran across this first issue...
1. replacing catalytic converters
2. Lower control arms
3. shocks
4. brake pads and rotors.

I have taken apart both sides and I'm looking at the steering rack boots, the passenger side looks all bent out of shape and the driver side looks really good (see picture)
I remember having the rack replaced about 3 years ago before the car went in for storage.
Should I be concerned and replace it? Can I just replace that part or do I need the whole rack?
Thanks

Id just keep an eye on it as long as its not torn.

You could lift the front of the car and turn the steering wheel while someone is able to look at and possibly persuade it to fold correctly just for peace of mind. (obviously use jack stands at least and be safe... )

No need to replace a rack for those either you can just replace the boots. The boot is just a dust cover and there is actually an inner seal in the rack itself for keeping fluid in.

Heres a link to replacement boots https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/19..._boot_kit.html

It probably got distorted during the last alignment. If those clamps are too tight on the ends, then it'll spin the boot when the tie rod ends are turned to adjust the toe.
