Did I find a good deal?
Like its said in the title, im wondering if this sc400 I found is a good deal. I found one off the beaten path with 140k miles, owner is asking 2250. I went to see the car yesterday and the gentleman was very nice. The second I showed up he had me walk around the car and told me every issues the vehicle had. Front driver seat has two rips/passenger window wont go down from driver side/ needle lights out on speedometer.
I drove the car and it felt great, cranked right away. Only issue I had with the car was it pulled to the left, when I finished the drive I got out and saw the front left tire was worn well beyond the others. In all sorry for the long post, but like I said just wanted to see what you guys think?

I'd say good deal, and more respectable the guy being up front with you about the known problems. Overall, it doesn't seem like it has any major issues? GL and welcome to CL. Post up some pics of your SC when you get a chance. Check out the D.I.Y. section at the top of the page. Chances are if you're thinking it, or needing info on how to do something...it's been done, and done again? GL and keep us posted.

Thanks steve im gonna run back and pick it up. When I spoke to the man today, I asked if he would do 2k due to the fact that I would need a new left tire and alignment. He agreed. Of all the cars ive gotten in my life I would say this was by far the most pleasant.
On a side note, he even has all the paperwork from when the car was ooriginally purchased.

Looks like a great score. Battery alone cost 10% of that. Take that 200 bucks you saved and get you a tire and an alignment and be good for a while. Read up on the usual suspects with these cars and be ready for them. Power steering, alternator and ignition coils are probably coming due in the next 20k miles or so statistically speaking unless they've already been addressed.
Should be a pretty solid car otherwise. enjoy and welcome!

That looks like a steal for only 2 grand. Why so low? and only with 145k? Its barley braking in.
Does he have any records to provide?

Nope clean title i checked, but the owner told me he was just tired of the car sitting at his warehouse, plus he was just "given" a gt500 mustang from ford( he paid a dollar). He builds stage for them or something like that.
