Default RCF seats In a sc?

Hey guys

I am starting to collect parts for my new build and I wanted to know has anyone tired to do a rcf front and rear seat swap into a Sc? I’ve seen that it work in the isf with little modification. I also wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction on where I can find the seats , from the looks of it they are very hard to come by, I’ve tired eBay but my next step is junk yards.Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Seats will prolly cost more than what you paid for the car tbh... rcf is a fairly new car, fairly pricy and fairly uncommon.... would be cool though... happy trails is all I can say

The seats will cost a fortune. Front could probably fit with modifications but the rear probably won’t without costing a fortune to make it fit.

it would be tough to find an RC-F in a junkyard too.

With the right custom rails almost any seat can be made to fit. Then the seat motors need electrical power from the SC seat connectors, plus an SC seat-side connector to plug into the floor body harness. Getting the SC dash seatbelt warning light to work with a modern seat might or might not be as simple as with older seats. Then there's the matter of the built-in airbags on the RC-F seats... which are going to be sitting dormant in an SC application.

But mainly as mentioned above it will be a problem even finding a set of them to begin with and if you do they are going to cost a pretty penny. More than likely a lot of current-gen IS and RC non-F owners are looking out for these also.

I would not give up in your search though but I'd perhaps suggest considering other options out there unless you're set on this one (MKIV seats, RX8 seats, S2000 seats, various Recaros, Infiniti G IPL seats, etc.)
