R side of driver seat not working..stuck in forward Position
 

Just acquired this 93 SC3 5 speed..the right side of the seat was getting stuck so I was going to remove the seat.. Like an idiot I moved it to the furthest forward position. Now it is stuck and I can not reach the bolts to remove the seat..

The motor is getting power but only the left side of the seat is sliding on the rail..

Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated

You will need a long phillips screwdriver

Under the seat looking from the front towards the rail that is not moving, you will find a phillips head screw which you can turn to manually operate the seat forward/backward. You will operate the forward/backward switch a little, then move the other side (not working rail) to manually move it to match until you are at the desired seat position.

I was able to remove the front right bolt by pulling up on the seat and having a friend reach in with a wrench.. I am not able to find the screw you speak of.. In your opinion could the issue be in the rail and not the motor? all three motors work, only the right rail is non op..

I was so wrong about the phillips. I see it in your picture, I circled it in red. 8mm, 10mm?
The likely issue is a small white plastic nut that came out is causing the issue. When I finally removed my seat to replace it because of upholstery issue, I found the plastic plug that managed to come loose under the seat. On side of my seat rail was also not functioning.

Figured the bolt was what you meant to be the phillips
 

Thanks again for your help..When I put a socket on the bolt and began to tighten it, there was no movement on the rail..I didn't want to break any thing so I stopped...I will look into removing the white plastic and see if there is any visible damage..

Yeah you can't turn it backwards against the worm gear in the slider. If you turn the bolt in the picture it will break the input gear. Can you see the shaft where it engages into the rail? They can pop out as they are pretty flexible. It's like a set of Chinese handcuffs to get the motor disassembled from the tilt motor so I wouldn't take that on unless you have to. I have cut a couple of these sliders down for the race car, believe it or not I stripped and cut it completely down to just the bare necessary pieces and have an electric slider the race seat mounts on, makes it easier to tension the 6 point belts which is pretty cool. But I digress so back to your problem. If you can see where the shaft goes into the slider on that side, you may be able to pop it out and try screwing the slider by hand through that input gear. There are a couple of dog bone shaped rollers the top part of the slider rolls on that is the sliding motion. Sometimes one of them can get cocked and lock up the slider, that may be what your problem is. If you can look down the slider, see if one of those is hung up.
