I'm back in the game!

After selling my first SC in a misguided attempt for my wife to have a baby I swore I'd get another one eventually. Well, yesterday was the day, I pulled the trigger on a pearl white 98 SC300. It's in much better shape then my 95 was, no dings and the interior isn't torn up. It's also only 20k into a freshly rebuilt engine. I'm still a bit conflicted as I'm not as big a fan of the 97+ body kit as everyone else seems to be, I really loved the simplicity of my no-spoiler 95, but the car is growing on me.

Welcome back! It looks like a very nice car to start over with.

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to track down another set of wheels like I had on my 95 but evidently they've been out of production a while now.

It happens. I'm in the same boat but refused to sell. :D

Welcome back :)

Welcome back :)

At the time we had 3 cars but none were good baby cars and we owed money on two of them so we consolidated them into one good baby vehicle. I just wish I had kept my wheels because it doesn't seem like I'm going to find them again

Congrats on the new purchase. Looks to be a well-kept example, any plans for it?

I wasn't either for a while but my Soarer came with it and it does grow on you after a while. While it does make our cars appear a lot more current, it does lose some of simplicity of the original design, and I can only imagine how bold a luxury vehicle without a grille was in 1992.

Right now I'm wheel shopping, my 95 was lowered 1" on the Tanabe springs but the ride was pretty bad so I'm trying to decide if I want to save up for coilovers. I also want to do something with the exhaust but I don't want it to sound like a fart cannon. I've also got a few back lights out in the AC and radio controls that need to be replaced. I'd like a turbo one day but it's not a priority right now.
