Hey guys I have a question. I have a JDM 2jgte w/auto that I swapped into a project of mine. My problem is the car is charging on 13 volts “in Park at idle “ but the moment I put it into Drive volts drop to about 9 or so volts. And when it goes into boost it breaks up around 5k. Here is the drive train specifics
JDM 2jzgte
converted to single turbo
AEM v2
custom wiring harness
-8 fuel lines
BW s366
duel Bosch 044 pumps
transmission was stage 2 build from ATF
these are are the main ingredients
does anyone has this set up or somthing similar and had this problem. We noticed this problem while dyno tuning the car.
Lastly i I just want to say that I posted this in this section because this drive train most likely came out of a soarer or somthing like that from japan. And I believe this is a drive train issue. But if it could make a difference the project I put it in was a z32 “I know I broke a cardinal rule but I wanted the best of both worlds 2jzgte durable and 300zx sleek look. Plus I got it for free!

Thanks guys.
Check how much voltage is coming out of the alternator from the wire right at the alternator, Check for resistance in that wire from alternator to battery.
Once you know you have good voltage from the alternator you can run a new heavy gauge wire to the battery.
Sounds like an electrical connection/ resistance issue to me not drive train. Make sure you didn't pinch or stretch wires pulling the engine and putting it back in.
