Cross-compatibility of SC400/300 seat connectors between model years?
 

Apologies if this has already been asked, but I can't find it if so.

I've got a nice shiny 95 SC400 whose front seats have had it, previous owner didn't use leather cream when they should. A local reclaimer has a 93 with pristine seats. I've also seen the later perforated seats on the 98 and up.

That being said, I know the passenger airbag moved in the later years, so I figured there might be some wiring changes as well.

Would anyone know what year seats are compatible with what year vehicles? Will a 93's seat's work in a 95? Can a 98's seats be used as well? Did the connectors change in the same 92-94, 95-96, etc breaks as many other parts?

All the SC seats are interchangeable, they will all bolt and plug in the same, only difference is heated on non heated seats. Go get them, bolt them in enjoy them.

That was right, went and got them, took about five minutes with a ratchet to swap. Exact same connector, seats look like new, and will be constantly treated with Lexol to make them last.
