Advice on how to sell non-running 93 SC400
Hello, forgive me please if this is posted inappropriately.
I've come to the painful conclusion that I have neither the time nor resources to get my 93 SC400 back into road worthy condition and want to sell it. I LOVED driving it, but the ship has sailed, so to speak. How do I do that, without parting it out myself, and how should I price it? Car has 100,000 original miles, is due for the timing belt and fuel pump replacements. Interior leather is rough due to a leak in the sunroof; wheels are sound but need to be refinished. Newer Hankook tires. Otherwise stock condition. Original Nakamichi stereo non-functional due to moronic person trick by previous owner. Silver spruce color, and located in Iowa City, IA. Any suggestions on pricing and how/where to advertise would be appreciated. Thx! -- Brian |

Fuel pump and alternator issues, according to my mechanic. He suggested replacing both when doing the timing belt, which is due.
Essentially, I love the car, but can't justify spending the dough to pay someone else for the repairs, which I cannot perform myself, and my sons are too big for the back seat now. |
