New Tires and Lug/Stud Replacement
I've got a '94 SC400 and it appears that I've been mean to the tires a little and I will soon be needing new ones. I've got 225/55/16 now and I really like the tread pattern (https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/sh...t=1&thecat=500), but they sure didn't seem to last very long. I'm more interested in tread life than max performance, but I do like a good looking tread pattern - what are some really good tires for the SC400 in 16 inch? Quiet would be nice too, but I just don't like those all-season tread patterns too much.
I also just rotated those tires and the ******* that jackhammered the lug nuts on last time caused me to twist off a wheel stud/lug (whatever it's called). Are there any special instructions for removing a rear wheel lug? I've done it on a Jeep before, but that was with drum brakes. Any help would be appreciated!
