I don’t know man, that’s a lot of work for a grand. You’ll need to replace all the hoses, might as well timing belt, serp belt,, tensioner pulleys, plugs, wires and list goes on.
Honestly I think it’s a money pit, but if you want to put all that time and cash into it go for it.
Now if it was a 300 I’d say do it, you only have one head there and less in parts jmo!

Hopefully he responds, cause JZZs are pretty rare in my part of VA as well and I'd legit cop that if I were in your shoes...might even **** around and give him what he's asking since I'd just 1J it anyway and it'd probably be a year before I found another one (SLIGHT exaggeration)...
