Default Had a Bad Day!!

This is a difficult circumstance.
I really like my 1998 SC400's.
It all started in 2009. And ended last week. And started again today.
My first car was February 2009. Next was March 2009. Next was February 2011, ..and again Feb 2015.
Well, there was this hurricane, you may have heard about.

We were evacuated by airboats to the north side of town. Saved two by chance.
I lost one to 3-4' water. Photos make me very sad.
Moved two just 6 feet higher. One had 2 inches of water as I moved though my apartment complex. Google Earth is creepy.
So!!! Sold that car on Craigslist for 300. He flipped it for 400.
I have been hopping between corroded alternators, run down batteries, removed the carpets, AND!

My 'beater car' has been in storage this last year, running like a top!!

Next stop light--failed a valve, punctured the piston. (Friday) Well, good samaritan** gave me ride to work.

Get my 'best' car next day. Run some 'errands' then next thing,
rocking and rolling with my engine. Shut it down in my apartment space. This engine about to throw a bearing.
I have not had enough oil changes.
Last week I removed my carpets, Power washed them.
Locating JDM engines for two cars.
May update.

I got a good JDM engine from dallasjdmmotors . It was from an LS400 and my mechanic removed all the accessories from each engine to make it whole for the SC. Cost $2000+/- labor and $950 for engine -delivered to Houston.

Took a couple weeks. Runs like a dream. Going to do second car in a month.
