Any help with measurements?

Hey everyone, I'm going to start by saying I dont own a Lexus but I'm hoping that some of you could help me? I have a 1950 Ford truck that I'm looking to do an IFS front swap on and the sc300/sc400 looks like a candidate. Ive seen 2 people do it on 56's which have slightly wider frames. I'm trying to figure out if it could work for me. The 2 guys that did it aren't active on the forums anymore and I can't get ahold of them through messages.

I looked online for a while today but couldn't come up with anything. What I was wondering was if someone could measure the WMS to WMS(wheel mounting surface) for me? You'd have to have wheels off to do that. Basically measuring from where the wheel mounts to the rotor on both sides using a straight edge down and measuring between it. The other is an eyeball measurement between the front crossmember mounting bolts. It looks like it's roughly 31" between them, which would be perfect for me, but that's just a rough guess from a picture.

If anyone would be willing to help Id greatly appreciate it. But if no one wants to do it because I'm a new guy just hear looking to see if he can get some measurements I get it lol. Thanks in advance

wouldnt an easier- and easier to source swap be an 04+ crown vic? ive seen that done tons. can't say ive seen a lexus front end swap before

Thanks for the suggestion on the crown Vic. It's a great swap for the newer, wider f100s, but the 48-52 Ford trucks were just a bit wider than a ranger. As far as I can tell the SC is narrower, but I'm trying to figure out how well it would work for me width wise.

here it is on a 56, it looks really good, but the 50 is a little narrower. I think i can make it work, but hoping to get some numbers before making a 2 hr drive to look at one I found in a salvage yard.

I asked my friend what he was going to put in his 48 truck. Havent gotten a reply yet, but then i remembered that he has a 48 chevrolet. But if he has an answer, ill let you know anyways, maybe it will give you an idea.

He's putting the 1UZ from a SC400 in his truck.

He said his was based on a camaro front end. I figured id go ahead and follow up on it, even though im sure it wont help you.

Thanks for the follow up. I'm not sure how they compare to a Ford. I'd assume he is welding the front sub frame from a Camaro on. I'm looking to hopefully do a bolt in. A good weld in possibility for me is a Jag XJ6 front, but hoping to do a bolt in and the Lexus set up looks much cleaner and I have found them to be cheaper than the Jag
